Siemens Gamesa gets German deal for 30 turbines

A German project developer has made a framework agreement for up to 117 MW of Siemens turbines and will allocate them across several small projects.

Siemens Gamesa has slightly expanded its framework for the coming years, reveals the company in a press release.

The turbine manufacturer has entered a framework agreement with German project developer VenSol Neue Energien for the delivery of up to 30 SWT-DD-142 turbines over the next three years. As it involves turbines of 3.5-3.9 MW, this means an ultimate capacity of 105-117 MW if the deal is fully realized.
