Senvion installs new turbine prototype

The German wind turbine manufacturer has installed its new 3.6 MW machine at the newly expanded test center in Husum, Germany.

The test center Windtestfeld Nord welcomes its newest occupant.

Senvion has now installed a prototype of its turbine from the series titled 3.6M140 EBC at the wind turbine center in the northern German town Husum. Besides capacity of 3.6 MW, the turbine is equipped with the new system Eco Blade Control (EBC), writes the manufacturer.

GE implements 3D printing for making component molds
