KK Wind Solutions is going full-steam ahead with its plans to enter the Indian wind turbine market. This occurs with the acquisition of the Italian gear manufacturer Bonfiglioli's control cabinet production in India, which is also expanding in the region with the establishment of a new factory close to existing facilities in Bangalore. The takeover will be finalized Sept. 1.

However, since the investment company Solix bought the Danish manufacturer of electric wind turbine control systems, the plan is once again to expand beyond Europe. An ambition, which has now resulted in the establishment of an Indian subsidiary.
