Goldwind, which is particularly strong on its home market of China, booked revenue of CNY 7.3 billion (EUR 921 million) in wind turbine sales during the first six months of 2017, as 1,874.5 MW of new capacity were produced and sold. This marks a setback of slightly more than 20 percent relative to the first half of 2016 in both categories, shows the interim report from Goldwind Friday.
Larger revenue in service as well as from electricity production from the wind farms owned by Goldwind, limited the total decline in revenue to 10 percent landing at CNY 9.8 billion in the half-year period.
