British firm moves to the US to install offshore wind

Cathie Associates is establishing an office in Boston to take part in the budding offshore wind market.

British based offshore geoscience and geotechnical engineering consultancy, Cathie Associations, has faith in the expansion of the US offshore wind market  and is now opening an office in Boston, Massachusetts, reports North American Windpower.

Recently appointed Vice President Sean MacDonald will head the company's North American expansion. He has a background as a geophysicist and has worked in both offshore wind as well as oil and gas.
