Vestas wins biggest order to date in Thailand

The wind turbine manufacturer has more than doubled its presence in Thailand with a new order that makes Vestas market leader in the southeast Asian country.

For the first time ever, Vestas has sold turbines to Asia from the V136-3 MW series.

The wind turbine manufacturer has received an order for 60 of the low-wind turbine, which has a hub height of 157 meters and towers of 89 meters, making this turbine the tallest in the region, announces Vestas in a statement.
