Former Vestas exec leaves Danish supplier

Less than one year after being acquired by an equity fund, a major supplier to Vestas and Siemens Gamesa has hired a new CEO, recruited from the homeland of the new owners.

Denmark's AH Industries is making changes to executive management.

The company, based in western Denmark, produces steel components for companies including Vestas and Siemens Gamesa, and has now hired German Lothar Shaefer to be the new CEO, after Knud Andersen resigned from the position after four years.
