CIP and China battle for Statkraft's offshore wind

Several major players are showing interest in paying big sums for the Norwegian company's stakes in British offshore wind farms, sources tell Bloomberg NEF.

Statkraft could have a schmorgasbord of buyers to choose from when handing off the remainder of its offshore wind assets.

According to Bloomberg NEF's sources, potential takers include Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), Macquarie Group, and China Resources Power Holding, which are allegedly interested in the Norwegian firm's stakes in the two British offshore wind farms Sheringham Shoal and Dudgeon.
