Dong divests half of a German wind farm and increases guidance

50 percent of the German offshore wind project Borkum Riffgrund 2 will be sold to Global Infrastructure Partners in a transaction worth EUR 1,170 million. Dong's executive management increases EBITDA guidance in the wake of the sale.

Dong Energy has entered a deal to sell 50 percent of the German offshore wind project Borkum Riffgrund 2 to Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP).

As a result of this transaction, Dong Energy is increasing its 2017 guidance for the operating result before depreciations and impairments (EBITDA) from DKK 15-17 billion to DKK 17-19 billion (EUR 2.29 billion to EUR 2.55 billion) .
