Nordex increases sales despite a halved profit

Nordex has surprised positively in the second quarter. In the first half of the year, however, the result was more than halved.

Sales at the German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex, a rival to Denmark's Vestas, increased slightly in the first six months while the net result was more than halved.

In the first half of 2017, revenue increased to EUR 1.5 billion from EUR 1.48 billion in the same period the year prior, according to the company's report for the first half of the year.
