Acciona appoints new head of North America

The new executive is traveling from South Africa to North America to take up the new job where he will grow the wind and solar portfolio.

Spanish firm Acciona Energy has nominated Rafael Esteban as the new country manager for the US and Canada, reveals the company.

The executive's task will be to operate and grow the current 966 MW renewables portfolio on what Acciona calls an important market after selling its wind turbine manufacturing division to German firm Nordex last year.
