Car designer replaces battery for "Tesla killer"

A partnership has fallen apart between Henrik Fisker and Nanotech Energy for the development of a groundbreaking electric car battery with graphene technology. LG Chem will now serve as supplier instead.

Danish car designer and CEO of Fisker Inc., Henrik Fisker, is underway with his latest electric car venture, in a project he has dubbed a "Tesla killer".

However, according to Automotive News, Fisker has been forced to shift strategy in the development of the Fisker Emotion, after the plug was pulled on Fisker Nanotech – the planned joint venture between Fisker Inc and Nanotech Energy – before the electricity had even began to flow.
