Vestas wins 48 MW in the Dominican Republic

Vestas will ship 14 turbines to the Dominican Republic in Central America.

A handful of Vestas employees can look forward to a trip to the tropics. Or this is at least true of the company's machinery, as 14 V117-3.45 MW turbines will be delivered and installed by Vestas in the Dominican Republic in Central America.

The order is for a total 48 MW and will be part of wind farm Larimar II. Spanish company Elecnor S.A., which is known for infrastructure and renewables investments, is behind the farm.
