Apple delay costs Goldwind the big bucks

The Chinese Vestas-rival is forced to watch earnings shrink as a deal with Apple has been stalled.

Earnings at China's Goldwind will take a dive for the first half of 2017, compared to previously announced projections, because of delays in a deal with Apple, reports Recharge.

In April, Goldwind announced that it expected to make between CNY 1.45 billion (EUR 187 million) and CNY 2.17 billion (EUR 280 million) in the first half of 2017. But the company has now reduced expectations and projects instead that the result will come to between CNY 1.01 billion and CNY 1.45 billion.
