The wind turbine manufacturer has received an order for 36 wind turbines to the two Turkish wind farms Baglar and Ardicli. The order amounts to 118 MW, with delivery expected to begin in the second quarter of next year and the two farms are planned for completion in 2019. The company has also entered five-year service agreements on the two projects, announced Siemens Gamesa in a press release.
The wind turbines in question are G132-3.3, from the 3.3 MW turbine platform launched last year. The turbine has previously been on the Mexican market among others, but it is the first time that it has been ordered from a European country.
