Siemens finances 800 MW solar power

Masdar has secured funding for the third phase of its 5,000 MW solar project. The money will come from seven different parties, including Siemens.

The national fund Masdar from Abu Dhabi has secured financing for the 800 MW third phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.

The farm will be developed by a consortium consisting of Masdar and EFD's subsidiary EDF Energies Nouvelles, in collaboration with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).
