An auction for German solar power projects of 200 megawatts has resulted in record-low prices at an average 5.66 euro cents per kWh. Deals were made in the auction for 32 projects with total capacity of 201 MW, writes Germany's Bundesnetzagentur in a press release.
This marked the second of three German auctions this year of 200 MW each. During the first auction in February, all time low prices emerged at an average 6.58 euro cents, and the second auction thus broke this record.
