Argentina gives Vestas a strong start to summer

Argentina's landscapes will be embellished with 62 large Vestas turbines, while the wind turbine manufacturer has also secured an expensive service contract.

Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has signed yet another contract – and a quite large one at that. The Danish company will deliver a total capacity of 220 MW divided across two projects on the Argentinian market.

The order also includes a ten-year service contract in the most expensive class at Vestas, AOM 5000, according to a press release Tuesday. Argentina's largest producer of wind energy, Genneia, placed the order which is fixed and unconditional, says Vestas.
