Siemens Gamesa confirms German parallel orders

The wind turbine manufacturer has secured total enterprise on a German offshore wind project, where a new substation will be introduced.

Siemens Gamesa will deliver 16 of its SWT 7.0 - 154 wind turbines to the 112 MW German offshore wind farm Albatros. This is confirmed by the wind turbine manufacturer in a press release.

The order has already been announced three weeks ago by developer EnBW, while it was announced back in February 2016 that the German manufacturer won the 497 MW order from Albatros' older brother, Hohe See, which is located right next to it.
