German wind turbine manufacturer Senvion is considering setting up US production, which according to the company's US country manager, Helmut Herold, will depend on how large a pipeline of orders the company manages to build.
"At the moment we see a lot of opportunities. We see first [installations in the US, -ed.] next year, but the bigger ones [projects, -ed.] are in 2019. We need to find solutions in that two-year time [period, -ed.]," said Herold at a wind turbine conference in Anaheim, California, according to Recharge.
