Michigan-based utility DTE Energy has announced a plan to develop 6 GW of renewable energy going towards 2050. Chris Brown, US country manager at Danish wind major Vestas, served asdeputy chief executive of DTE ten years ago. In the wake of this announcement, he might want to call up some old colleagues.
The 6 GW are a cornerstone in the company's ambition to reduce carbon emissions by more than 80 percent.
