Gamesa sees major boost in profit

Spanish wind player Gamesa presented pleasing profits in both sales and the result in the first quarter 2017.

Spanish wind turbine manufacturer Gamesa roared ahead in both sales and earnings in the first quarter which marks the last quarter for Gamesa as an independent company.

The manufacturer, which competes with players such as Denmark's Vestas, had sales worth EUR 1,546 million over January, February, and March. This corresponds to growth of 45.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
