HSH Nordbank is looking for more financing opportunities among Danish renewable energy ventures. The German bank has provided financing services worth millions to CM Finans and European Energy's major solar projects Vandel 1 and 2. Now, the bank wants to take its renewable commitments one step further.
"We're focusing on countries with stable framework conditions, so the bank is particularly active in Northern Europe where there are also many mature project developers. We have a clear interest in growing further in Denmark and we want to finance wind farms as well," says HSH Nordbank's Head of Energy & Infrastructure, Lars Quandel, in comments to Danish media Børsen.
