Two Danish subcontractors have completed a merger and thus created Jupiter Bach, the largest supplier of nacelles and spinner covers. The new entity will focus on reducing wind power's levelized cost of energy (LCoE).
One of the parties behind the merger is Jupiter Group, which produces glass fiber covers for nacelles and is bringing 700 employees and a 2015 revenue of DKK 400 - 450 million to the table (EUR 53 - 60.5 million). The other is Bach Composite, which delivers composite materials to manufacturers such as Vestas and boasts 500 employees and DKK 400 - 450 million in revenue.
