Vestas' new blade factory in India will be gradually scaled up over coming years.
The factory near Ahmedabad in the Indian state of Gujarat was opened in late March and currently boasts annual capacity of wind turbine blades for about 200 MW. Over the next two to three years, capacity will grow to 600 MW, says Vestas' head of marketing in India and Southeast Asia, Amar Variawa to news agency PTI.
