Danish investors put millions into solar power

Nordic Solar Energy has raised DKK 150 million in fresh capital and is now ready to launch a new round of solar panel investments. The company maintains that an IPO could be just around the corner.

A group of Danish investors plan to crack open their piggy banks and inject their money into Danish solar panel owner Nordic Solar Energy, writes Danish newspaper Børsen. In 2015, the company announced that it wanted to go public, but first the fund went looking for financing from Danish investors.

This has resulted in fresh capital of DKK 150 million (EUR 20 million), states the CEO.
