Denmark has witnessed increasing opposition against onshore wind turbines, and now it seems that Scandinavian neighbor Sweden is experiencing a similar trend. A brand new study from Swedish municipal newspaper Dagens Samhälle shows that Swedish cities have rejected 354 onshore wind turbines over the past three years.
The many rejections have occurred in 20 different cities, writes Dagens Samhälle, however it does not specify which companies were behind the specific plans for the rejected turbines.
