Vestas lands major order in the US

A huge US order has arrived at Vestas, which will be shipping 43 turbines with total capacity of 148 MW to the Danish buyer CIP.

Danish turbine manufacturer Vestas has landed a 148 MW order from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners CIP.

This concerns an order for 43 V126-3.45 MW turbines to be delivered to Bearkat I Wind Project in Texas. In a press release, Vestas writes that the order supports the 3 MW platform, which the company believes is a perfect match for the US market.
