An arbitration court has ruled that Neart na Gaoithe, a 448 MW Scottish offshore wind farm is indeed eligible for funding through the British aid program Contract for Difference (CfD). The decision was announced by project developer Mainstream Renewable Power and UK CfD authority Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) in a joint press statement.
"The arbitral tribunal has made its decision in NnG’s favour under the dispute resolution procedure set out in the CFD," write the parties without elaborating further due to confidentiality clauses.
