Two wind turbine projects in Northern Belgium will be equipped with Siemens turbines. The turbine manufacturer has received an order for six SWT-3,2-113 turbines for the Katoen Natie project at the Port of Antwerp, and another three for the Sibelco project at Mol-Dessel. The order is EDF Luminus, a subsidiary of state-owned French electricity company EDF. This is according to a press release from Siemens.
"The new contract with EDF Luminus is an important achievement for us," says Thomas Richterich, CEO Onshore, Siemens Wind Power.
