German wind turbine manufacturer expects three years of deficit

Senvion lost half a billion DKK in its first year as a listed company, and the German manufacturer is expected further pressure on the margins in the future.

As a rule, companies consider development and expansion to be a positive thing. However an IPO has not proved entirely positive for Senvion, which its revenue in 2016 by 41.6 percent to EUR 2.2 billion, but also dipped below the bottom line. Last year's net loss was thus EUR 63.9 million, 5 percent more than the deficit the year prior.

This is according to the annual report from the German wind turbine manufacturer, released Wednesday.
