For more than 25 years, 11 offshore wind turbines off the coast of Vindeby in Denmark have reliably delivered energy at a level corresponding to powering 2,200 households, but now the farm's run is over.
Dong Energy has decided to divvy up the wind turbines and take the offshore wind farm - which was constructed in 1991 as the first of his kind - out of operations.
