Germany issues 800 MW onshore tender

A new German tender for 800 MW in onshore wind is running until May.

An 800 MW German offer has been issued by the federal network agency BNetzA with a May 2, 2017 deadline, reports Recharge.

This is the first time that BNetzA, Germany's Federal Network Agency, has issued an onshore wind tender. Previously, the company has experimented with solar tenders, and the experience is that the prices are falling when compared to other projects that receive a feed-in tariff.
