Tesla could land a huge 100 MW order for an Australian battery storage farm after founder Elon Musk floated a deal on Twitter.
The unconventional offer emerged after Musk told the Australian Financial Review that he could solve South Australia's energy woes within 100 days. The Australian state has been plagued by power shortfalls and blackouts, with one such incident recently prompting Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce to point the finger at wind energy despite evidence to the contrary.
