Prysmian wins huge order on French offshore wind farms

The Italian company will supply submarine cables to a total of three farms which will have combined capacity of almost 1.5 GW.

Italian cable manufacturer Prysmian has landed a contract from France's transmission company Réseau de Transport d'Electricité (RTE), states the company in a press release.

The order is worth more than EUR 300 million and intends to result in the connection of the three total offshore wind farms Fécamp, Calvados, and Saint Nazaire.
