Danish engineering firm to pave the way for US offshore wind

A Danish engineering company has been awarded the task of selecting the best wind sites in a US state looking to take on more offshore wind.

Denmark's Ramboll Environ has been given the task of mapping out the waters off the US state of Massachusetts, which is looking for spaces to potentially install future offshore wind farms, reports the company.

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center awarded Ramboll Environ the job which consists of tasks including "to guide offshore wind developers, manufacturers and private investors in their selection of sites," for the development of offshore wind turbine projects.
