Wind is growing most in the US

After an exceptional fourth quarter, wind energy is now the largest renewable energy source in the US, according to a new report. And it shows no signs of shrinking, with the report predicting that capacity will double over the next five years.

Wind Energy is soaring in the United States. After the second-best quarter for newly-installed wind it has emerged that wind energy is the number one renewable energy source in the US.

A new report from the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) shows that wind has surpassed hydropower plants in terms of capacity. Meanwhile, wind energy has grown to the fourth-largest energy source in the US.
