Wind turbines are not just getting taller. They are also becoming more advanced as well as increasingly valuable. This means a rise in the needs for monitoring, quality, and efficiency of the turbines, which further entails heightened requirements for the people who design, construct, and maintain them.

However, qualified labor for the wind turbine industry is growing hard to find, according to several companies which work in wind turbines, speaking to EnergyWatch. The same seems to be suggested in official industry statistics.
