Ahead of Donald Trump's impending inauguration as US president, the departing administration has rushed to grant approval to several offshore and onshore wind projects. One more was granted Wednesday evening.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) have given the green light to the first phase of the colossal project Chokeberry and Sierra Madre. This project will count 500 turbines and contain total capacity of up to 1,500 MW.
