Solstad Offshore has entered contracts with Dong Energy concerning two CSV vessels (Construction Support Vessel). One of the contracts will take effect next month. At 23 months, it is the longest chartering of its kind in Solstad's history – with the option for an additional six months. The second vessel will begin work in April 2018 on a 7-month contract with an option for a further eight, writes Solstad in a brief to the Oslo Stock Exchange.
"This contract with Dong Energy Power A/S is a strategically important contract for SOFF in the company's continued commitment to the renewable energy segments," Solstad writes.
