376 MW down – 1,633 MW to go. Perhaps that is how Denmark's Vestas is framing its new 153 MW order from MidAmerican, consisting of V110 2.0MW turbines. The order is for the the second phase of the 2 GW Wind XI project in the US state Iowa.
This summer, Vestas received a conditional order for the delivery of approximately 1,000 turbines on the project, which is set to be one of the world's largest and expected complete in 2019. In September, this brought the first concrete order of 214 MW, now closely followed by another.
