Shell goes after more offshore wind farms

After winning an offshore wind tender in the Netherlands, Royal Dutch Shell is ready to bid on similar projects in other countries, including beyond Europe.

Monday night Dutch authorities revealed that a consortium consisting of Shell, Van Oord, Eneco, and Mitsubishi/DGE had won the tender to develop offshore wind farms Borssele 3 and 4, located in the Netherlands and amounting to a total 680 MW.

Now Royal Dutch Shell has revealed that the oil company is aiming to win more offshore wind projects.
