Share of green Danish energy rose again in 2015

The production of renewable energy covered 56 percent of Danish electricity consumption in 2015, show new statistics.

The Danish Energy Agency has published Energistatistik 2015 (Energy Statistics 2015) and the figures for last year shows that Denmark's electricity consumption contains a record level of green sources.

In 2015, green energy sources represented 56 percent of Danish electricity consumption compared to 53.4 percent the year before.
