Danish fund on shopping spree in Texas

The capital fund Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners is injecting millions into the erection of a wind farm in Texas.

The wind project Fluvanna in Texas, USA will be realized with money from Danish capital fund Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP). Through the fund Copenhagen Infrastructure II, CIP has provided a USD 61 million (EUR 57 million) loan to the construction of the onshore wind farm Fluvanna I, which will be located in Scurry County in Texas. This is according to a press release from CIP.

Fluvanna I is owned and will be operated by Terna Energy S.A. The total investment in the wind farm amounts to USD 251 million. The Fluvanna I project will consist of 74 2.1 MW Gamesa turbines with a total capacity of 155.4 MW.
