Vattenfall: following Dong into Taiwan is risky

Sweden's Vattenfall will not follow its Danish competitor Dong into Taiwan – as least not immediately.

Sweden's Vattenfall has recently won tenders in Denmark, snatched right under the nose from Dong Energy. But the Danish energy company need not fear that that its Swedish rival will be following closely behind in Taiwan.

By making an early entry, Dong is aiming for a solid grasp on the budding market which promises double-digit returns.
