Broad political support for expansion of Danish turbine test center

A majority seems to be forming in support of the Danish government's proposal to expand the country's National Test Center for Large Wind Turbines, Østerild.

The testing of large wind turbines is crucial for the wind power industry and thus a positive for Denmark as a leading nation in wind.

At least, this seems to be the opinion of the politicians behind the deal to establish the National Test Center for Large Wind Turbines in an area called Østerild in 2011, as they now seem keen on the government's latest proposal to expand the test center to accommodate even more test turbines. This proposal is expected to be presented in late December, writes Danish media Altinget.
