Denmark enters offshore wind partnership with key US state

Several of the Scandinavian country's companies are already involved in Virgina, where the offshore wind industry is on the verge of a breakthrough. Now Denmark also formally enters a collaboration with the US state.

Denmark signs yet another partnership agreement in support of soon-to-boom offshore wind markets – this time with the US state of Virginia.

With the 2.6GW Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Project, set to commission in 2026, the state is seen as an axis of the developing US wind-at-sea industry along with New York.
