Insurance provider Codan Danmark has signed a deal to insure construction of Taiwanese offshore wind farm Zhong Neng, currently being developed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and China Steel Corporation and deploying 31 model V174-9.6MW wind turbines made by Vestas.
"This project shows how important renewable energy has become in Taiwan's agenda. We are both proud and honored to play an active role in their transition to a more sustainable energy mix through providing insurance for their offshore wind farms," says Codan Forsikring Head of Commercial Lines Camilla Amstrup in a statement.
