Vestas launches new Enventus model of up to 7.2MW

The Danish turbine manufacturer has announced a new 7.2MW-capacity wind turbine for its Enventus platform amid cyber attack.

One could be led to believe Vestas is pulling a so-called Kansas City Shuffle in making everyone look at the new V162-6.8MW wind turbine, announced today for Enventus, while the company scrambles to resolve the cyber security incident that hit them on Friday.

Perhaps the turbine launch was planned ahead, or maybe the cyber attack wasn't so comprehensive after all.
