Vestas hit by cyber attack

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer was impacted by a cyber security incident on Nov. 19.

Following the cyber attack on Friday, Vestas shut down its IT systems across multiple business units to contain the issue.

"As part of our crisis management setup for cyber security, we are working together with our internal and external partners to contain the issue and recover our systems," stated Vestas in an announcement.
